SYNOPSIS
Gardel plays Carlos, a law student, obsessed by the love of Raquel, a woman who will accompany him to Paris to sing. The relationship between them deteriorates, they travel to the United States. In a Brooklyn bar where he sings, Carlos is attacked by a "cafisho" with a knife, but manages to disarm him. Later, the situation worsens and he is stopped by a friend, about to strangle his girlfriend, a scene in which he interprets the song Cuesta Abajo. Later, Gardel, wrapped in nostalgia, returns to Buenos Aires, while he interprets the tango Mi Buenos Aires Querido.
